I followed your guide, which was well written by the way :P

So everytime I load the game on my softmoded wii it takes me to a purple menu and I have two options, one is to boot, and the other is to view the credits.

I clicked boot and it said insert disk to boot then press A, since the disk was already in all I did was press A, and it took me back to the same menu O_O

The game I have on the disk is resident evil 1 the gamecube remake btw.

So long as you follow the guide fully, your disk should be working fine. I would check what version of GC backup launcher you're using. 0.2 is the newest.

Sounds like the GCOS menu.  Are you using Waninkoko's patched MIOS or Wiigator's?

Currently only Wiigator's supports multigame discs:

I used this to burn all my gamecube games to play on my soft modded wii and they play great with no slowdown at all just like a normal gamecube game :)

They play just as well as any other burned game does.  If your Wii is softmodded you are restricted to 3x read speed when the native speed is 6x.  There will be slow downs with some videos, but I have yet to see a gamecube game's gameplay suffer from being read at 3x.

Also note that this method does not work for the gamecube.  Gamecube multi-game discs can be created using this:

damn it... well i'm going restart my GC collecting... any way casue the wii GC back launcher is not working for me...

does softmii allow burned gc games to appear in the disc channel? and if so, will it have some sort of option to choose which game to load with multi-game discs? cuz i dont really wanna waste a dvd-r on a multigame disc if i cant run it

This is certainly a disc saver! I was wondering though, how would a Resident Evil game work doing this method? Would I have to save first before disc swapping? I believe that would be the only way in order to reset and select disc (image) 2...

Backup Launcher gives you the option to specify disk two before launching the ISO.

When it's time to switch, you eject the disk then put it back in.

That is beyond wonderful, thank you so much!

Okay, I burned a few of these multi-iso disks, and there is a problem.
I have Wii Menu 3.2U and a Softmod Wii, And I use the Gamecube backup loader 0.2!
I followed every one of the instructions, and when I load the disk up, my screen goes black and white.
I checked the region with Dolphin, and it says it's PAL.
I selected USA when I made the disk.
Is there any way to fix this?
I checked the compatibility list and everything works.
Please help!
