Make Sure You Extract Your Games Before Following the Steps!! GCM or ISO Files Are Needed

[GC] Extracting Original Rars [oRARs]  - http://thepurplecube.org/forums/index.php?topic=229.0

1.Create a folder called "Games"( or Anything ) and dump all your GCM or ISO games in there .

2.  Start up Dolphin, And it Should Look Like this

3. Now go click on "Browse" and navigate to the "Games" I got you to create earlier, Then Press Ok.

4.  Your screen should now look like this (But less games  8))

= = = = How to Enable Cheats  = = = =

1. Start Up Dolphin, Then Open Config,  And Turn On Enable Cheats

2.  Right Click on the game you Want to Turn Cheats on, Then go to Properties.

3.    Once you Got that Open Go to AR Codes And turn on All Your Cheats

(If there is a (M) Code turn it on, its needed to run any AR Codes)

Now You Have Cheats Enabled!!

 = = = = Transferring Save Games To Newer Revs = = = =

1. Open Up Your Dophin Folder ( Open The Older Dolphin Version And the One you Transferring Your Save Games to)   And it Should Look Something Like this.

2.  Once you Have Both the folders open And are Ready To transfer the save game to the Newer Rev,       Open Up The User Folder And You Should see two Folders Called "Wii" And "GC"

3. Now Just Copy The Wii And GC Folder And Paste it in the Same Location, But In the Newer Rev .  ;D

Frame Skipping - Can Be Found in Emulation/Frame Skipping

Must Be Enabled In-Game

Q.What Does it Do?

A. A software feature that skips the display of certain frames of animation to improve performance at the expense of visual smoothness.

Recommend At Least +1 Frame Skip For Most Games
Must Be Enabled In-Game

Running a Bat File

Q.  What Does a Bat File Do?

A. What this does is close the graphical user interface of windows, "explorer.exe", when you start Dolphin. This is a very CPU and Memory hogging process. It opens "explorer.exe" again when you close Dolphin. Doing this should give you a little FPS boost.

Pre-Made Bat File

Mario's Super Dolphin Launcher V2   http://tinyurl.com/2vjd2hs  Recommended!!

Just Place in Dolphin Folder And Run.    :o

Make Sure You place the bat file in your Dolphin folder

 = = =Make Your Own Bat File !!! = = = =

Open notepad and put in this code:

TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
start /high /wait DolphinIL.exe
start explorer.exe

For JIT

TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
start /high /wait Dolphin.exe
start explorer.exe

And If you Have Vista Running The Sidebar.

TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
TASKKILL /IM SIDEBAR.EXE /F
start /high /wait DolphinIL.exe
start explorer.exe
start sidebar "without .exe"

Now save the file as a ".bat" in the Dolphin's main folder (Example Dolphin.bat), making sure to change the "Save as type" drop menu to "All Files". It doesn't matter what file name you give it, as long as you make sure to end it in ".bat".

= = = = = =Gamebooster = = = = = = =

Q. What Does GameBooster do?

A.   Designed to help optimize your PC for smoother, more responsive game play in the latest PC games with the touch of a button, Game Booster helps achieve the performance edge previously only available to highly technical enthusiasts. It works by deframenting game directories, temporarily shutting down background processes, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance.

A good half of the people that need help don't bother reading the stickies anyways. But a sticky is called for because there was stuff in there that even I hadn't really tried before. XD

Excellent work, Mario. It looks brilliant.

Even though this is a tutorial, I feel this would get much more views if it was stickied in the Gamecube Emulation Help section.

I hope you don't mind Mariomadness.
